Nazko First Nation

Our mine is located on the traditional territory of Nazko First Nation.  In recognition of their support of CanLava Mining Corp. and our products, we contribute to the revenue of the Nazko Economic Development Corporation.  This corporation is owned by the Nazko First Nation and pursues the economic development of the Nation while maintaining their strong values.  Each bag or jug of LavaGrip sold contributes to their economic development.  We are proud to be playing a role with this great community. 

Future Projects

Our involvement with the Nazko Economic Development Corporation has led to a number of potential projects being considered:

• Soil Management Facility
• Bagging Plant
• Tours of the Mine and Blackwater Area
• Building a Viewing Boardwalk at the Marsh
• Exploring Solar and Geothermal Opportunities

These are just a handful of ideas that can become possible with the strength from the Nazko First Nation. Just like LavaGrip, the potential is huge!
